 | Just got back from a skiing trip to Geilo in Norway. Had a great time in Forest Chalet 1, with a nice bunch of people. The snow conditions were good. This was our fourth skiing trip and we feel we are getting the hang of it. The first two trips were at Geilo with Friends (Grant & Lisa). We spent most of the time in Ski School, but had a taster session on a snowboard. |
For our third trip we went to Kranjska Gora in Slovenia, with Al, Anna and Morgan (see http://www.alananna.co.uk/blog/2009/kranjska-gora-2009/)
Rather than Ski we took Snowboarding lessons for the week and came back with very sore bums, but thoroughly enjoyed it.
For our third ski trip we went back to Geilo in March 2009.
We met some nice people in a Chalet and so chose to do the same in January 2010.
Whilst there we did a day Snowboarding to retain that skill, as I don't want to go through the initial pain again (but I still managed to bash my bum).
